Strong Layered Construction for Heavy Loads
Our laminated bamboo beams are made from multiple bamboo strips bonded together under high pressure. We select 3-to-8-year-old Moso bamboo from the Sanming region of Fujian, China. The bamboo strips offer high strength and good toughness, making them suitable for structural applications.
This structure is similar in principle to plywood but provides significantly higher strength and stability. The one-piece molding process ensures uniform internal strength throughout the beam, eliminating weak points. This uniformity is critical for reliable load-bearing performance in construction projects.
Great Bending Strength
These bamboo beams provide excellent bending resistance due to their high-density laminated structure. They can support heavy loads while maintaining minimal deformation, making them suitable for large-span designs without intermediate columns.
They are commonly used in applications such as homestay roofs and corridor beams. In outdoor environments, the material maintains good stability and offers resistance to moisture and decay, ensuring long-term reliability for architectural projects.
